Comprehensive DPF Regeneration Services For German Vehicles
DPF Regeneration is a process controlled by the engine management system, that monitors the soot and ash build up within the DPF. When the levels reach a point, the management system uses sensors and actuators to passively regenerate the DPF, to further burn the soot and ash which has been collected by the DPF. The purpose of this process is to break down the carbon emissions as finely as possible so they can be more easily absorbed within the environment.
If a DPF becomes blocked, after an initial assessment and we may attempt to force regenerate using diagnostic software. Should this not be successful, we may advise an attempt to clean the DPF. Once a clean has been carried out and its success assessed, we may then need to investigate further as to why the vehicle failed to regenerate in the first instance.
