What’s Included In My Inspection Service?
As part of your electric car service, our skilled technicians will conduct thorough checks to ensure that all traditional servicing elements, such as checking fluid levels, filters, tyre condition, and the braking system, are satisfactory for roadworthiness. Additionally, they will inspect items specific to electric vehicles, such as the charging cable (BEV & PHEV) and high-voltage battery components and cables.

Electric Car Inspection Service Checklist
VEHICLE INTERIOR & ELECTRICS
- Check function of all front lights
- Check function of all rear lights
- Check function of all warning lights
- Check function of horn
- Check condition and operation of all seat belts
- Check condition and operation of all foot pedals (inc rubbers)
- Perform visual check of front airbags
- Check and adjust interior clock if required
- Check charge cable is present and good condition
- Check the function and operation of the Air Conditioning System and Heating
- Check charging cable (BEV & PHEV) ensuring the cable is present and in good condition
- Check bodywork
- Check service tables for additional time or distance operations
VEHICLE EXTERIOR
- Check condition and park position of wiper blades
- Visual check of all lenses
- Lubricate all doors, bonnet and door hinges, catches and latches
- Check function of windscreen wash/wipe system
- Check wash/wipe spray setting and adjust (if required)
- Check sunroof operation (if applicable)
VEHICLE FROM BELOW
- Check HV battery components and cases (inspect and secure recorded correctly)
- Check thickness and condition of front brake linings
- Check thickness and condition of rear brake linings
- Check play, security and boots of track rod ends
- Visual check of swivel joints
- Visual check of brake system components
- Check drain oil (where applicable)
- Check final drive oil level (if applicable)
- High-voltage battery components and cables inspection (checking for damage
- and ensuring correct routing and securing of lines)
- Carry out exhaust system insepction (Hybrid vehicles only)
- Check glass, lock, hoses and steering
- Check suspension, drive belts (if applicable) and driveshafts
ENGINE COMPARTMENT
- Check power steering system (if applicable)
- Check level and frost protection of cooling system and record
- Check level of wash/wipe system and top up (if required)
- Visual check of drive motor
- Check coolant level and Antifreeze strength
- Check 12V Battery
TYRES
- Check all tyres
- Check spare (if applicable)
- Check Inflation kit (if applicable)
- Perform basic settings of tyre pressure monitoring system
FINAL CHECKS
- Reset service inspection display
- Carry out full vehicle road test
