Service and Payment
Payment Terms: Full payment must be made before the collection of any vehicle, unless you are an account customer with an agreed account setup with Volks Autos Ltd.
Account Customers: Customers with an account setup are subject to the agreed payment terms specific to their account.
Warranty and Parts
New Parts Warranty: All new vehicle parts supplied and fitted by Volks Autos Ltd come with a 12-month parts and labour warranty unless advised otherwise.
Second-Hand Parts: Any second-hand parts sourced and fitted by Volks Autos Ltd carry no parts or labour warranty.
Special Order Parts: Parts specially ordered to customer specifications cannot be returned unless they are of unsatisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described.
Pricing
VAT Inclusion: All prices shown include VAT.
Price Changes: Prices are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change without prior notice.
Vehicle Assessment
Technician Reports: Our technicians will provide a report based on their experience and recommendations for your vehicle. If you have any questions about the advisory recommendations, please consult a member of our staff.
Key Drop Off and Out of Hours Collection
Customer Risk: Customers using the key drop off facility and collecting vehicles out of hours understand that vehicles are left at the owner’s risk and Volks Autos Ltd are not liable for any loss or damage.
Volks Autos Ltd ULEZ Policy
Volks Autos Ltd is located within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), which requires compliance for vehicle emissions when driving in the zone. Please note that we may need to road test your vehicle throughout your visit to accurately diagnose and verify repairs.
Customer Responsibility for ULEZ Payments: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their vehicle’s ULEZ payment arrangements are in place. To avoid any interruptions or fines, we strongly recommend setting up automatic renewal for ULEZ charges, as Volks Autos Ltd cannot notify you each time a test drive occurs.
Notification of ULEZ Requirements: This policy is communicated through our booking confirmations messages via SMS, email, and WhatsApp, and is also outlined in our terms and conditions on our website.
Social Media
Marketing Authorisation: Once vehicles are on site with Volks Autos Ltd customers authorise their vehicles to be photographed or filmed for marketing purposes. Vehicle registrations will not be shown. If you do not want this, please notify a member of staff.
Amendments
Policy Changes: We may change these terms and conditions or our privacy policy at any time by updating this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.
Liability
General Liability: Volks Autos Ltd will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue, or business, howsoever caused.
Vehicle Safety: We ensure all repairs and services are carried out with the utmost care. However, it is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is safe and fit for use post-repair.
